What is Hypnosis?

Can I be hypnotised?

Yes, as long as you want it. Noone can force you into hypnosis against your will and you are always in control.

Will I know what is happening?

Yes. With closed eyes your other senses actually increase in sensitivity.

What is being in hypnosis like?

We all experience short periods of hypnosis in our everyday life. It occurs when we are between being fully awake and asleep. Day-dreaming is also hypnosis. Staring into space, or out of a window, oblivious to other conversations is hypnosis too!

Will I be forced to accept suggestions?

No. Your mind is very protective of you. You are always in control and will not accept suggestions that go against your morals, values or needs. A professional, ethical hypnotherapist only promotes positive change and would never ask you to do anything against your will.
